Year 4 completed a mini topic on 'Birthdays' when they returned to school after lockdown. Many pupils were not able to have their friends at their birthdays this past year. In school we decided to arrange a birthday where all the pupils could celebrate together. We completed procedural writing on our favourite party games, designed invitations and birthday cards. For Numeracy we completed some Handling Data work on our birthday months. For Art we designed our own birthday decorations. On the Friday we had a great day celebrating by playing party games and the great weather helped make it even better!
