Snow Much Fun in Nursery ☃️❄️

26th Jan 2026

January has been a busy and exciting month in our nursery as we explored our winter topic. The children enjoyed learning all about winter through hands-on, playful activities.

We made snowmen and even created our own snow for the classroom, bringing winter indoors. Our open-play café was a big hit, with children serving hot drinks and taking on different roles through imaginative play. We also had the exciting opportunity to make real hot chocolate, topped with cream and marshmallows – a very special winter treat!

The children explored different winter animals and enjoyed fun, meaningful learning experiences. They were especially fascinated by discovering the concept of freezing and melting through practical activities, encouraging curiosity and early scientific thinking.
