As our learning journey continues with the topic People Who Help Us, we had a very special visit from Freya's mum Rachel who works in the dental surgery. The children had great fun learning all about what dentists do and even had a go at being a dentist themselves. They used mirrors to look at and check each other’s teeth and learned why the dentist has to wear special gloves and a mask. Of course, they also enjoyed meeting George the bear! A big thank you to Rachel for visiting us and telling us all about her amazing job!
We also had the opportunity to visit the canteen and meet Kerry and her staff, who cook our delicious dinners everyday. Kerry showed the children the special uniform she has to wear when she is doing her job and what the kitchen staff do each day to prepare our food. A big thank you to Kerry and her staff for everything they do to deliver our tasty dinners.
