Our nursery children enjoyed a wonderful day out this week, travelling first by bus then train to Castlerock and then spending time exploring the beach. The excitement was evident from the moment they boarded the train, with many experiencing a train journey for the very first time. The highlight for many was travelling through the tunnel, and their delighted expressions and sense of wonder were a joy to see.
At the beach, the children thoroughly enjoyed the fresh air, exploring their surroundings, and taking in the natural environment. It was a fantastic opportunity for learning, discovery, and adventure.
The day was greatly enjoyed by both children and staff, and we were extremely proud of the children's exemplary behaviour throughout the trip.
