On Wednesday the 25th October our Cross country team participated in our first race of the season. We had six runners in the fun run. Mason won this race, after leading from the start. Emer ran a great race to finish as the fifth girl home. There were over sixty runners in this race. In the girls' team race, our girls finished in fourth place overall, with Niamh finishing eighth overall in a field of eighty six. The boys' race saw us finishing in second place overall. All of our boys finished in the top thirty in a field of over ninety runners. Well done to everyone who ran. We look forward to the next round in December.
