After the great efforts of our football team last week, it was the turn of the hurlers to star this week. After playing several tough games, they qualified for the Final, where they met their namesakes, Saint Canice Feeny. After a tremendous game, where both teams displayed a high level of skill and sportsmanship, they couldn't be separated. The final score 4 - 4. After a period of extra time our lads ended up winning by a single score. They now go forward to represent Derry in the Ulster finals on Wednesday 10 April in Meadowbank Centre Magherafelt. Congratulations to both teams on contributing to such a fantastic game.
