Congratulations to our Cross Country runners who participated in their second race on the 4th December at the University of Ulster playing fields. Our ten runners in the Fun run all finished in the top twenty in a field of over eighty runners. Ryan Moore ran a fantastic race to finish second. In the girls' race Aoibhinn McGlinchey from p6 finished eighth out of eighty runners. In the boys' race Conor Mckenna ran a brilliant race, finishing third. He was closely followed by his brother Dara in sixth place and Sean O'Kane in seventh. This performance by the boys' team now qualifies us for the Northern Ireland finals on the 22nd January at Mallusk playing fields. Grainne McElhinney and Aoibhinn McGlinchey ran magnificently over the course of the two races to also qualify for the Northern Ireland finals. All our runners have performed exceptionally well over both races this Term and can be very proud of their achievements. Well done everyone.
